Direction of Use
For small lots,
mix the required quantity of Metalaxyl 35% WS with 10-20 ml of water for each kg of seed to seed and rotate or stir the container (plastic drum or plastic bag) until the seeds are uniformly covered. 1. Fill the slurry tank with the required volume of water which will be 1.5 times the quantity of Metalaxyl 35 WS to be used. As a general rule, this will be about 750 ml and should not exceed 1000 ml /100 kg seed even when other products are used in combination treatments.
2 Add the specified quantity of Metalaxyl 35 WS on the water surface.
3 Wait until the product has completely disappeared into the water without stirring.
4 Stir the solution for about 10 minutes. The Slurry is ready for immediate application. Use the slurry to treat seeds as required in a seed treating drum. Dry the seeds in shade before sowing. No significant deleterious effects are noticed on seed viability and disease control in Metalaxyl 35 WS treated seeds for a period of 12 months, provided seeds are of high quality to begin with and are stored under prescribed cool dry conditions.
